About the Sign Control Board
The Sign Control Board is a statutory board created pursuant to state law and Lancaster City Code. Members review, hold public hearings, and make recommendations to the City Council regarding requests for signs in the city.
Members
The Planning & Zoning Commission shall serve as the Sign Control Board. The Sign Control Board consists of 5 members who are appointed to 2-year staggered terms and an alternate appointed to 1-year term. Members must be residents of the city. A quorum of at least 3 members must be present prior to commencing a meeting.
