We strive to improve the quality of Lancaster’s neighborhoods through education, enforcement, and abatement.

Our team responds to community concerns and works to attain code compliance while maintaining high professional standards and continually seeking improvements and innovative solutions.

General Information Regarding Liens

Lien payoff request are answered within 7 business days. Lien releases are only sent via US mail. Requesting entities are required to submit authorization documents prior to information release. Please email any comments or questions to the Neighborhood Services department at liens@lancaster-tx.com.

Thank you for contacting the City of Lancaster Regarding your request for a lien payoff for (________). We will conduct a search of our records and the Dallas County Clerks Office records for any active liens and/or outstanding balances. 

We do not honor "rush" requests. Request are answered in the order they are received and turn-around is typically within 7 business days.
