Veterans Memorial Library introduced its Mobile Book Trailer in 2017. The trailer was equipped with a mobile Integrated Library System which allowed on the spot library card distribution and checkouts. It was stocked with over 900 books and equipped with a Wi-Fi server to allow visitors access to the internet. In 2018 Veterans Memorial Library had the pleasure of making bi-weekly visits to George Washington Carver 6th Grade STEM Learning Center to provide books to students on campus before they opened their campus library the following year.
The library presently makes visits to city sponsored events, and is available for local authors to collaborate book chats and signings.
