Utility Bill Rates

The City of Lancaster is committed to continue providing excellent services to Lancaster residents. At the City Council Meeting, on Monday, September 8, 2014, Council approved the 2014/2015 Budget, which included a rate increase for water and sewer services. Although Council has maintained the same water and sewer rate as the previous 3 years, based on the results of the utility rate study, a rate increase was deemed necessary to sustain operational costs and infrastructure maintenance. Based on the average customer usage for water and sewer, the average increase customers should expect to see on their utility bills was approximately $5.56. The new rates were effective beginning October 1, 2014.

The information below reflects the minimum rates for a 5/8 or 3/4 meter size.
