Welcome to the City Secretary's Office
The City Secretary's Office is dedicated to maintaining the integrity and transparency of our city's governance. We manage city elections, preserve vital municipal records, and facilitate board and commission appointments to ensure an accountable, citizen-centered government.
Key Responsibilities
- Election Administration: Oversee all city elections, ensuring fair and transparent processes.
- Record Keeping: Custodian of essential municipal records, including council minutes, resolutions, ordinances, and contracts.
- Board and Commission Coordination: Manage appointments and vacancies for city boards and commissions.
Public Information
Your Right to Know: We provide access to public records in accordance with the City Charter and the Texas Public Information Act. Transparency and accountability are at the core of our operations.
