Civic Leadership Academy VII:

Our next Civic Leadership Academy class will be meeting on Thursday, October 5, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Building located at 1650 N. Dallas Avenue, Lancaster, 75134.

New Driver License Office:

Grand Opening "Ribbon-Cutting" Ceremony:

Fight The Bite:

Stay Protected Against West Nile Virus!


In the recent months, Dallas County Health and Human Services has had several mosquito trap in Lancaster that have tested positive for West Nile Virus. The City of Lancaster has coordinated with Dallas County Health and Human Services to conduct ground spraying for the reported areas.
 
City of Lancaster residents are provided free mosquito dunks at 700 E. Main Street and 211 N. Henry Street while supplies last. This product assists in mosquito control by killing mosquito larvae when applied to water sources. For more information about ground spraying, please call the City of Lancaster, Public Works Department at 972-275-1752 or visit www.lancaster-tx.com/FightTheBite.

Did you know that Lancaster has implemented mandatory watering restrictions to two days a week? Specific assigned watering days are determined by your address. Residents are restricted from watering between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Although, hand watering and using soaker hoses are permitted at any time.
