- NTFB and its partners are hosting special food distributions for federal employees missing paychecks and neighbors whose SNAP benefits are frozen. Events are concentrated in areas with high SNAP enrollment. Attendees are asked to bring a Lone Star Card or a federal ID to expedite service.
The list of locations is available at ntfb.org/get-help and will be updated regularly. Some sites are drive-through mobile distributions requiring a vehicle, while others are walk-up pantries.
NTFB and its partners are also working to keep regular pantry operations and mobile distributions running throughout the shutdown.
